Stage 1

Application Reviews

We're happy that you're considering Coforma as the next step in your career! We don't believe in ghosting people who invest real time and effort into wanting to work with us, and we're committed to responding to each application we receive.

Our hiring process isn’t always fast, but we're very hands-on and we work hard to deliver a personal, human-centered experience. We don't use AI to screen applications because it's important to us that a real person reviews your application. Our hiring team will review your submission and will contact you to set up an initial interview OR will provide a resolution to your application as soon as possible.

We do our best to keep you informed about the status of your application in a timely manner, but with a large volume of applications it may take a bit longer for us to get back to you. We appreciate your patience while we work diligently to thoughtfully review and respond to each application.
Stage 2

Values Alignment Interview

Our initial interview is focused on values alignment, culture add, and getting to know each other better. We'll discuss your background and experience and you'll have the opportunity to ask us any questions you have about the role itself or Coforma in general.
Stage 3

Technical Interview

Highly rated candidates are invited to a Technical interview, which is focused more on your experience and the technical knowledge and skills we're looking for in this role.

In this round, you'll be asked to showcase a project of your choice (personal, professional, open source, etc.) that you're comfortable providing an overview of. Our interviewers will ask you to share your screen while walking through the project so they can get a better understanding of your approach. They'll ask some basic technical questions about the project and will chat with you about the tech stack involved. Whatever you decide to share should be something you're proud fo that shows off your skillset!

You'll also be asked to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to this interview to ensure that we can discuss our work in greater detail with you. Please reach out to our Talent Acquisition team if you have questions or concerns about this or anything else in our process.
Stage 4

Executive Interview

Top-rated candidates will be invited to an Executive Interview. Our leadership team will ask some final questions about your background and experience, but the main focus of this interview is to answer any remaining questions you have about Coforma and to discuss what your potential future working here may look like.
Stage 5

Reference Checks and Offer

Final candidates are asked to provide contact information for two references we can speak with that can give us insight into your career growth needs and how to best set you up for success at Coforma.

Once reference checks are successfully completed, our Talent Acquisition team will reach out to verbally discuss the details of our offer with you and will follow up with a formal offer letter to join Coforma!
Stage 6

Hired

Once you've accepted your offer, our onboarding team will reach out to provide you with all of the important information you'll need regarding your first day. The onboarding process will vary depending on your role, but please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions!
